Michigan Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition

Michigan Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies (HMHB) is a statewide coalition, developed in 1984, for organizations and individuals to address maternal/child health issues and the high infant mortality rate in our state.  HMHB's mission is to improve the health and safety of mothers, babies, and families through education and collaborative partnerships of public and private organizations. 

HMHB is hosting their 25th Annual Educational Conference in 2013.  Please watch for more details on this exciting, high quality event.  Thank you for your continued support of HMHB's conferences! 

Policy Statement

All contact information for HMHB members will remain confidential and will not be shared outside the organization.  Any individual or organization seeking to contact individual HMHB members on conferences, advocacy or other professional issues - may submit the content they wish to have shared with our members - to the Executive Committee.  The Executive Committee will consider requests and will send out the content to our HMHB members, if approved.  No exceptions to this policy will be made.

Text 4 Baby

Text4baby is a free mobile information service designed to promote
maternal and child health. An educational program of the National
Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (HMHB), text4baby provides
pregnant women and new moms with information they need to take care of
their health and give their babies the best possible start in life.
Women who sign up for the service by texting BABY (or BEBE for Spanish)
to 511411 will receive free SMS text messages each week, timed to their
due date or baby’s date of birth.  Go to:  http://www.text4baby.org  for
more information.  Michigan HMHB is now an official partner with Text4baby.  Text4baby annouces plan to reach one million moms!!
