Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Policy Committee

One of the primary goals of the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition  is to initiate and participate in advocacy efforts on behalf of mothers, babies and families.

The Policy Committee strives to stay informed regarding developments at the federal or state level which affect the health of mothers, infants, and families in Michigan. We disseminate the information throughout our network and proactively communicate support or concern regarding policies. Special attention is paid to issues impacting vulnerable families.

On this website we provide access to information on the latest developments in policy, informed analysis of policies, and information about how to advocate for positive policies.

Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies is a non partisan organization. Our support or concern regarding policy is guided by how that policy will most likely impact families. We advocate for policies that promote our goals; policies that support the development of healthy families.
